Men’s Nautical-Inspired Spring/Summer Fashion

Just because you don’t own a private boat or have that exlusive yacht club membership, it doesn’t mean you can’t pull off the nautial look this season. Think stripes, anchors, linen, and navy for the perfect seafaring vibe, even if you’re just a landlocked urban sailor. For this look I layered a short-sleeved striped button down over a crisp white linen henley tee and a pair of pale blue chinos for a look that’s perfect for any boat party. And make sure to add some finishing touches! Try a rope bracelet or something similar with a metal anchor clasp to really complete the look.

Graduations to me, whether they fall on this day or not, always feel like Sunday morning and so I always dress accordingly. All you really need are the essentials. Keep it simple
- Jacket (try something linen, washed and double breasted)
- Oxford Dress Shirt
- Trousers
- Brown shoes

Here’s where the cute comes in…
Make sure that everything fits well. Pulling off a look/making it cute is mostly in the fit. The jacket shouldn’t be straight cut, but hug you at the waist and fit well in the arms. The most important thing is to make the look your own. Be true to what you like (ie your favorite colors, brands)
